Ternary Tifs file
Submitted by gophysics on Thu, 07/31/2008 - 10:02
Hi all... I have two different user manuals - one that was given to me with my kit, which I used until I realized that the user manual on this site had very different information in some sections. However, both make mention of a Ternary Tifs file which I can't locate either on my CD or on this site (unless it is called something other than Ternary?). The current online manual says: Jumping over the fact that I can't find a Ternary anything on my CD, in the folder referenced I actually have 11 files (i.e. B.quad, C.quad, MK.quad, etc) that I created following the hard copy of the manual that was given to me with the kit plus 3 other files that follow this format: UC_EEnhMatte-black.quad. Can someone straighten me out on all this? I'm getting the impression that I started following directions for a protocol that isn't being used anymore and that I don't have everything I need for this "new" one. Thanks, |

Unfortunately, when I burned the CD for you, I put the stuff that we distributed to everybody in June. That means that there definitely have been some changes to the protocol, etc.
Please check out the User Manual online. That should point you in the right direction. The changes have come about through the help of everybody on this site, so you should find some pretty good information.
For the TIF files, the new stuff should be available at the Download Center. Wolfe will be the best contact for that, but he is away at the time. I will do my best to help you out!
