Oswego's start

We're getting ready to assembly our kit, but I had to show everyone the solution to the laser pointer protection (see attachment below). I needed to mount the pointer a little differently then it appeared in the directions. I'll be sure to let everyone know if it creates problems. I will also have my students photograph the entire assembly process.

Legos

I ended up modify it to fit over the laser, by basically leaving the bottom portions of the shark off.

Laser Pointer

I am new here and also very interested in your laser pointer protection solution. I don't know where to find the instruction for set up the laser pointer. Would you please provide me some further information?

Laser pointer setup

The cradle to hold the pointer is in the Lego assembly directions. The shark overlay is something I created from the above mentions Lego set and extra legos from home. Yes, I have all the legos from when I was a kid.

We've encountered a few problems with the shark over the laser pointer and the box we are using to shield the stray laser light. When we get things worked out I'll most more pictures and directions.
