Saturday, May 2nd, Craig Markum presented his research on the SHArK project from his first semester in the Parkinson lab and demonstrated how a SHArK kit works to a crowd of people at the University of Wyoming's Annual Undergraduate Research Day.

Craig showed the progress he has made on a method for depositing the metal nitrate salts by pipette onto the glass substrates that could be used instead of the inkjet printers. This technique would provide high school students with the opportunity to learn fundamental laboratory skills while also being a way to save on the overall cost of the project.

Overall, it was an exciting demonstration and a great presentation by Craig!
