print on substrates multiple times
Submitted by cmarkum on Tue, 07/14/2009 - 12:33
Jennifer and I talked about issues that I was having with the refillable ink cartridges and the lack of "active sites" when scanning. With several questions now being discussed on this board and through email, Jennifer suggests that a substrate should be printed on multiple times. Jennifer recalls that she at times has even printed up to 4 times on the same substrate to ensure that the metal solution is thick enough to produce good results. As always, if anyone else has any suggestions please discuss them here. Craig |

multiple prints on substrate
Would like to know whether a drying procedure is used between successive prints. Thanks!

Drying
I would also like to know if there is any certain drying procedure between prints? Should it be heated or not? and if it should be given time to dry how long should that period be???
drying
We have tried both ways. We have heated between prints with a heat gun and also not. It doesn't appear to matter, but that could also be sample dependent.
