How has Calibration gone?

I was just curious if anybody had any feedback on the Scanning Station yet. Were the directions for the calibration clear? Did the process go smoothly?

Calibration

Ditto, the calibration was pretty straightforward and easy, though the Y-calibration took quite a long time with the columns set to 20. I ran it at 5 and it seemed to give me the same result in a fraction of the time.

For the Y-Calibration, I chose a columns value of 20 because I wanted to make sure that the sensor for the X-direction was completely out. That would make sure that the laser didn't go too far to the left. Then again, I put code in to make sure that the button wasn't depressed prior to moving the mirror, so maybe that was a useless gesture.

I found the calibration instructions were easy to follow and the process went smoothly.
